Butterfly VII by *rudeboyskunk - Is a wonderful picture. The artist has really used the focus and depth of field perfectly to isolate and accentuate the amazing texture of that pollen and fur on the creature. The photo brings this delicate creature to life and shows us more than just the average colorful butterfly shot. Superbly done! ( Suggested by ~GreenEyedHarpy and Featured by `hellfirediva )

VERY nice. Sometimes we (at like, I) forget that butterflies aren't just bright, pretty wings. When we look up close, they're like other insects (which, unfortunately, creep me out), but they also have big soft eyes and that delicate curly nose (for lack of a more scientific term). Just an interesting shot of an interesting realization about butterflies. Nice work.

wow. Congrats on the DD!

I really love how it's not a typical butterfly picture.. it's so mysterious and beautiful looking.. if I had money, I think I'd buy a print..
